Our structural engineers have worked with a variety of construction
materials, including concrete, steel, masonry, timber, aluminum,
and fiberglass. We use state-of-the-art materials in our designs,
including composites, such as carbon fiber.
Our structural engineers utilize the latest design and detailing software including BIM tools from AutoDesk® and Bentley®.
Focused on incorporating sustainable design practices, we are
knowledgeable in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) principles
and requirements, including the use of recycled materials in construction.
We have designed green buildings, employing green roof design and
the use of recycled steel, timber, and blast furnace slag or fly-ash
in concrete. Gannett Fleming broadened its structural engineering services and capabilities, as well as expanded the firm's footprint in the West, with the January 2011 acquisition of Nabar Stanley Brown, Inc. Now the NSB Group of Gannett Fleming, the team is based in Phoenix, Ariz., and provides construction management, BIM, and structural design services for energy, transit and rail, and aviation clients.
