Gannett Fleming has named seven new senior associates.
Brian W. Dorr, P.E.
Brian W. Dorr, P.E., is a project manager based in the South Plainfield, N.J., office. He is responsible for all facets of highway and interchange construction projects, as well as facility and site development projects. His experience includes geometric designs, utility relocations, traffic control, permitting, construction cost estimating, right-of-way engineering, and facility programming and development. With more than 20 years of experience, Dorr holds a bachelor of science in structural design and construction engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
Rachel A. Ellis
Rachel A. Ellis is a vice president and serves as the marketing manager for the firm’s Delmarva Region. In this role, she is responsible for all marketing and business development in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Based in Baltimore, Md., she also is a member of the firm’s National Marketing and Business Development Practice Leadership Team. With more than 16 years of experience, Ellis holds a bachelor of science in liberal arts and technology from Stevenson University and a master of science in technical writing from Towson University.

P.E., CxA, EMP,
James C. Griffin, Jr., P.E., CxA, EMP, LEED® AP, is a vice president, engineering and technical services. He joined the firm following the firm’s acquisition of Griffin Engineering and Technical Services on Jan. 14, 2013. Based in Morrisville, N.C., Griffin manages facility renovations and serves as a commissioning authority in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, and commercial industries. With more than 20 years of experience, he holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Widener University.
Brian W. King, P.E.
Brian W. King, P.E., serves as a manager of maintenance facilities in the Transit and Rail Section. His responsibilities include overseeing the planning, design, and construction-phase services of bus and rail maintenance facility projects throughout the U.S. and Canada. Based in the corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., King has more than 25 years of experience. He holds a bachelor of science in aerospace engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a master of science in aeronautical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
Brian A. Seip, P.E.,
Brian A. Seip, P.E., LEED® AP BD+C, CxA, is the manager of the Electrical and Systems Engineering Group and the Electrical Practice based in the Harrisburg office. He provides technical direction, staff supervision, project management, and quality control services for a group of 25 electrical, lighting, security, communication, and control system design personnel. He also is responsible for ensuring consistency in electrical design practices, as well as designing electrical systems for transportation, government, and commercial facilities. With more than 15 years of experience, Seip holds a bachelor of science in engineering from Messiah College.
Jamie Shambaugh, P.E., is a senior project manager in the Water Practice based in the Harrisburg office. He performs water quality evaluations, preliminary and final designs, pilot testing, regulatory compliance assessments, and treatment plant performance analyses. Shambaugh also provides sustainable infrastructure improvements for a diverse range of public and private clients. With more than 14 years of experience, Shambaugh holds a bachelor of science in environmental engineering from Wilkes University and a master of engineering in environmental engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
Christopher M. Thompson, P.E., serves as a vice president and project manager of Gannett Fleming Transit & Rail Systems, a division of Gannett Fleming specializing in transit and railroad track, signal, communication, and electric traction design. Based in the Philadelphia, Pa., office, Thompson oversees overhead catenary system and structural design projects, develops and maintains design budgets and schedules, and performs quality assurance/quality control of designs. With more than 12 years of experience, Thompson holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Drexel University.
