Gannett Fleming Advertisement Wins First Place in Marketing Excellence Awards

 (Harrisburg, Pa.) A Gannett Fleming advertisement received first place in the advertisement category in the ZweigWhite 2011 Marketing Excellence Awards. The 2009 advertisement, which appeared in a national engineering trade magazine, features Gannett Fleming President and COO Robert M. Scaer, P.E., and Chairman and CEO William M. Stout, P.E., in mid air, with a caption describing their excitement for the firm’s 95th anniversary and the power of strategic marketing “to take us higher and higher.”
The awards program recognizes marketing efforts of architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms in the U.S. and Canada. A panel of industry professionals judge entries based on results achieved, creativity, and marketing objectives.
The goals of the 2009 piece were to celebrate the firm’s upcoming 95th anniversary, promote recruitment, emphasize strategic marketing, and strengthen the Gannett Fleming Brand. The advertisement was created in-house by Corporate Communications & Marketing, in collaboration with the Art Department.
