
Allis Named Vice President

(Harrisburg, Pa.) William W. Allis, Jr., P.E., was named a vice president of Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Allis is based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa.
Allis serves as vice president and director of strategic development for the Water and Wastewater Practice. In this role, he is responsible for the continuous assessment, development, and implementation of the Water and Wastewater Practice’s strategic initiatives, and assuring their alignment with the current and anticipated strategic objectives of clients.
Allis has 28 years of diverse engineering experience in drinking water system master planning and design. Previously, he led the firm’s drinking water treatment process group.
Allis holds a bachelor of arts from Dickinson College and a bachelor of science in environmental engineering technology from The Pennsylvania State University. A registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, he is an active member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.
