
Wilson Named State Engineer of the Year

(Albuquerque, N.M.) David H. Wilson, P.E., was recently named State Engineer of the Year by the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers (NMSPE). This prestigious award recognizes his professional accomplishments and contributions to the engineering community. Earlier this year, Wilson also received Albuquerque Chapter Engineer of the Year, recognizing his outstanding service to the NMSPE, Albuquerque Chapter.
Wilson serves as vice president and transportation group manager of Gannett Fleming West, Inc., a New Mexico-based engineering corporation specializing in planning, design, and construction management. Based in Albuquerque, N.M., he is responsible for managing traffic and transportation staff in New Mexico and is active in the design and management of on-call professional service contracts with city, county, and state agencies.
Wilson holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of New Mexico and a master of business administration from the Anderson School of Management, University of New Mexico. He is a registered professional engineer in New Mexico and Arizona.
Wilson is a member of the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Intelligent Transport Systems New Mexico, and the New Mexico Engineering Foundation.
