
Peterson Receives Next Generation Award

(South Plainfield, N.J.) Teresa L. Peterson, P.E., C.M.E., has received the Next Generation Award from the New Jersey American Water Works Association (NJAWWA). This award is given to a member who is a young professional, has exhibited leadership in association events, and has displayed distinctive leadership and meritorious services in each of the following areas: service, good fellowship, and participation.
Peterson has participated in NJAWWA’s Young Professional Group, Registration Committee, and Conference Committee. She is currently serving a two-year term as co-chairperson of the Registration Committee.
Based in the firm’s South Plainfield, N.J., office, Peterson serves as a project manager for Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Her responsibilities include performing feasibility studies and providing design and construction-phase services to private and public clients for a wide variety of projects.
Peterson holds a bachelor of science in systems science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a registered professional engineer in New Jersey and a certified municipal engineer by the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers. In addition to her involvement with NJAWWA, Peterson is also active in the American Water Works Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, and North Jersey Water Conference.
