
Hawk Named Vice President

(Jacksonville, Fla.) Thomas C. Hawk, P.E., was recently named a vice president with Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Based in the firm’s Jacksonville, Fla., office, Hawk is the manager of municipal engineering services.
With more than 30 years of experience, Hawk works closely with clients throughout the southeast United States. Hawk oversees technical studies, preliminary and final designs, planning studies, and annual services for municipal and private utilities. He also serves as project manager on projects involving hydraulic modeling; feasibility studies; planning; process designs; and water and wastewater facility preliminary and final design services, including those involving collection and transmission, pumping, treatment, sludge management, effluent disposal, and water supply.
A graduate of Iowa State University, he holds a bachelor of science in both zoology and civil engineering, as well as a master of science in sanitary engineering. Hawk is a registered professional engineer in Florida and Georgia. Active in professional associations, he is a member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.
