
Brazie Named Vice President

(Albuquerque, N.M.) Mike Brazie, P.E., C.P.G., was recently named a vice president with Gannett Fleming West, a New Mexico-based engineering corporation specializing in planning, design, and construction management. Based in the firm’s Albuquerque, N.M., office, Brazie is a senior project manager in the Transportation Group.
Brazie oversees the technical direction, project management, and business development of transportation and infrastructure planning and design efforts. He also supports geotechnical, land development, environmental, and hazardous material projects throughout New Mexico, in addition to supporting hydrology and hydraulics services for flood control and dams.
With more than 33 years of experience, Brazie’s primary area of expertise involves the preparation of transportation plans, construction documents, and permit applications. His wide variety of design experience includes roadways, drainage systems, dams, and waste disposal facilities, as well as civil works and military projects.
Brazie is a registered professional engineer in six states and holds a bachelor of science and master of engineering in geological engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Society of American Military Engineers, and the American Institute of Professional Geologists.
