Gannett Fleming Names Senior Associates

(Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, recently named 12 new senior associates.

Brett Brenize, P.E.
Brett Brenize, P.E.
Brett Brenize, P.E., is a project and construction manager based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa. With more than 12 years of experience, he is responsible for construction project management and inspection on multi-million dollar contracts. A registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Brenize holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor of science in physics from Shippensburg University.

Mary Anne S. Derr, P.E., is a project manager with more than 18 years of experience in the management and design of major preliminary and final design transportation projects. She recently relocated to the firm’s Phoenix, Ariz., office to serve as deputy project manager of the firm’s Automated Train Project at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Derr holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Old Dominion University.

Dean B. Durkee, Ph.D., P.E., based in the firm’s Phoenix office, is the regional manager of the Earth Science and Hydraulics Practice. With more than 16 years of experience, he oversees the technical direction, project management, and business development of geotechnical efforts. Durkee holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Colorado State University, a master of science in geotechnical engineering from the University of Rhode Island, and a doctorate degree in geotechnical engineering from Colorado State University.

Andrew H. Haines, P.E., is manager of the Transit Group in the firm’s Phoenix office. With an extensive background in the design and construction of transit structures, he serves as structural project manager for the firm’s Automated Train Project in Phoenix. A registered professional engineer, Haines holds a bachelor of arts in international relations and Latin American studies from the University of Virginia and a master of science in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

With more than 22 years of experience, he has designed and managed GIS systems for transportation agencies across the country. A Microsoft Certified Professional, Wesdock holds a bachelor of science in geography from The Pennsylvania State University.
