Sanchez Joins Gannett Fleming

(Santa Fe, N.M.) Joseph Sanchez, P.E., has joined Gannett Fleming West, Inc., a New Mexico-based engineering corporation specializing in planning, design, and construction management. Sanchez serves as a senior project manager in the firm’s Santa Fe, N.M., office.

In this position, Sanchez oversees the implementation of context-sensitive solutions (CSS) for multimodal transportation projects. He directs site/civil work, primary and secondary roadway development, transportation studies, pavement designs, and other transportation-related engineering projects.

With more than 18 years of transportation experience, Sanchez served as the manager of the CSS division for the New Mexico Department of Transportation before joining Gannett Fleming West.

A registered professional engineer in New Mexico, Sanchez holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering technology and a bachelor of arts in anthropology from New Mexico State University. He is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and a former member of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials’ Technical Committee for Environmental Design.
