 (Harrisburg, Pa.) Lori Robson has joined Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., Robson serves as a solid waste specialist.
In her new role, Robson is responsible for supporting solid waste planning and recycling projects, including Solid Waste of North America programs for public sector clients. She also focuses on marketing and business development efforts to expand the firm’s Solid Waste Practice.
Robson brings to Gannett Fleming her extensive experience as a recycling coordinator for the Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority in West Burlington, Pa. She coordinated and promoted diverse recycling collection programs and administered grants and solid waste planning programs. With more than 15 years of experience, Robson worked closely with state, county, and municipal officials on a variety of solid waste issues.
Robson, who is a Senior Certified Pennsylvania Recycling Professional, holds a bachelor of arts in biology and a master of science in education from Mansfield University. Active in the Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania, she is a former Board and committee member. Robson continues to assist with the production of The Pennsylvania Recycler Magazine.
A recognized instructor in the recycling industry, Robson also recently obtained a Pennsylvania State Teachers Certificate for secondary education. She is an adjunct faculty professor at The Pennsylvania State University, Wilkes-Barre, and serves as an instructor for certification courses offered through the Pennsylvania Professional Recycling Certification Program.
