
McArthur Named Toastmaster District 38 Governor of the Year

(Harrisburg, Pa.) Delores McArthur, ACS/AL, received the District 38 Division
Governor of the Year Award from Toastmasters International. This award recognizes her educational accomplishments, service to the organization, dedication, and enthusiasm.
As division governor, McArthur conducted officer training sessions to help foster leadership skills, sponsored division-wide contests, and assisted Toastmaster members reach educational goals. She is currently the chairperson for the District 38 Recognition Committee and holds an Advanced Communication Silver and Advanced Leader distinction from Toastmasters International.
District 38, a regional division of Toastmasters International, supports more than 5,700 individuals in more than 124 clubs in eastern Pennsylvania, as well as southern and central New Jersey. The Gannett Fleming Toastmasters Club is part of the District 38
membership. As a member of the Gannett Fleming Club, McArthur has served as the vice president of public relations, vice president of membership, vice president of education, and president.
Based in Gannett Fleming’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., McArthur is the deputy manager of Corporate Data Resources. She is responsible for the corporate resume system, corporate project profiles, and project database, in addition to the firm’s corporate business cards and letterhead. With more than 17 years of experience, McArthur is a Certified Professional Secretary.
