
Loht Appointed to Occupational Safety and Health Committee

(Harrisburg, Pa.) Paula J. Loht, CIH, was appointed to the Pennsylvania
Governor's Occupational Safety and Health Conference Advisory Committee.
Loht joins 35 other professionals representing business, government, and private industry on the committee. One of her main functions as a committee member is to assist in planning the annual Governor's Occupational Safety and Health Conference. Held every October, the two-day event allows business and labor representatives to address workplace health and safety issues.
Loht is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Based in the firm's corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., she performs health and safety audits, conducts indoor air quality studies, and develops written safety programs for federal, state, municipal, industrial, and private clients.
With more than 20 years of experience, Loht holds a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Shippensburg University. She serves as the director of the American Industrial Hygiene Association, Central Pennsylvania Section.
