Gannett Fleming Partners with IDSN, Inc.
October 10, 2007
(Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming is pleased to announce it has acquired an equity interest in the International Document Solutions Network (IDSN, Inc.), based in Lancaster, Pa. Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, will provide technological, marketing, and financial support.
IDSN, Inc. recently created the www.foodcertificates.org Web site to provide business with easy access to upload or download necessary food industry certifications. The membership-based site helps companies to comply with private sector and government agency standards, including food industry certifications and documentations.
As a result of this partnership, Gannett Fleming’s Mark D. Johnson was appointed to the IDSN Board of Directors. In this role, he will assist with product market review and assess business plans and technical applications.
With more than 25 years of experience, Johnson directs Gannett Fleming’s industrial environmental efforts and heads its Private Market Leadership Team. Johnson is also a board member of Sustainable Ventures Corporation, a member of the Food Industry Environmental Council Steering Committee, and the International Dairy Foods Association.
In its first collaboration with IDSN, GeoDecisions, a division of Gannett Fleming, formed the Trace, Track, and Authenticate Systems Coalition (TTASC) Web site, hosted at www.ttasc.com. The Web site was designed to assist the nation’s agricultural regulators, food manufacturers, and other stakeholders in the food supply chain to adhere to current bioterrorism legislation. Future enhancements to the Trace, Track, and Authenticate System will incorporate GeoDecisions’ award-winning geospatial tracking capabilities and alerting components to track food delivery and product recalls.
