 (Harrisburg, Pa.) Arthur G. Hoffmann, Jr., P.E., was appointed the corporate quality officer for Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm.
Based in the firm’s Pittsburgh, Pa., office, Hoffmann serves as Gannett Fleming’s management representative for quality improvement and corporate safety initiatives. He is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the firm’s extensive in-house leadership, management, and quality training programs based on International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines. A vice president with Gannett Fleming, Hoffmann previously served as the regional office manager for the firm’s Pittsburgh location.

Hoffmann has more than 22 years of engineering experience and holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Active in professional associations, Hoffmann serves as the vice president of the Geo-Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and is a past president of ASCE, Pittsburgh Section. He is also a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering.
