(Princeton, N.J.) Wendy M. Grossman has joined Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Based in the firm’s Princeton, N.J., office, Grossman serves as a senior environmental scientist.
In her new position, Grossman provides environmental compliance services to public and private clients, focusing on remediation work for a major petroleum corporation. She coordinates and conducts site characterizations, subsurface investigations, groundwater and surface water monitoring programs, and remediation efforts.
With more than 23 years of environmental experience, Grossman has an extensive background working with New Jersey regulatory agencies. She has developed environmental programs for pharmaceutical and commercial companies, as well as educational institutions. Grossman’s areas of expertise also include air pollution programs, hazardous waste disposal, and the preparation of stormwater plans, in addition to resolving permitting and compliance issues.
Grossman holds a bachelor of science in environmental science from Rutgers University and a master of science in environmental engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Air & Waste Management Association and the Certified Hazardous Material Managers, New Jersey Chapter.
