Gannett Fleming Announces New Directors

Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, is pleased to announce the appointments of Paul D. Nowicki, P.E., and John R. Kenny, P.E., DBIA, to senior vice presidents and the Board of Directors.

Paul D. Nowicki, P.E.Based in the firm’s South Plainfield, N.J., office, Paul D. Nowicki, P.E., oversees corporate operations in New Jersey, New York, and southern Connecticut. He directs five of the firm’s regional offices that provide transportation infrastructure; water and wastewater; environmental remediation; and pharmaceutical and biotechnology services. With more than 23 years of experience, Nowicki also serves as the regional office manager of Gannett Fleming’s South Plainfield office.

Nowicki holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Detroit and is a registered professional engineer in New Jersey. He recently served as a director for the American Society of Highway Engineers, North-Central New Jersey Section, and is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey, where he serves on the Transportation Committee.

John R. Kenny, P.E., DBIAJohn R. Kenny, P.E., DBIA, oversees corporate operations for Gannett Fleming’s 19-state West Region, which includes offices in Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas. Based in the firm’s Phoenix, Ariz., location, Kenny directs the planning, design, and program management of civil, environmental, and transportation projects throughout the West.

Kenny holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a master of science in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. A registered professional engineer in six states, he is also a Designated Design-Build Professional™ through the Design-Build Institute of America.

With more than 23 years of experience in the engineering industry, Kenny is a member of the American Public Works Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the American Road and Transportation Builders Association.
