Bucher Joins Gannett Fleming

 (New York, N.Y.) Thomas G. Bucher, P.E., LEED A.P., has joined Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Bucher serves as manager of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Practice in the firm’s New York City office.
With more than 29 years of experience in electrical and energy engineering, Bucher oversees the planning and design efforts of electrical and mechanical professionals in New York City. The Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Practice provides project administration, inspection, and design services for public and private commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
Bucher is certified by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying and is a registered professional engineer in New York, Massachusetts, and Illinois. He holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from The Rochester Institute of Technology and a master of business administration from St. Bonaventure University.
A licensed Master Electrician, Bucher is certified in fire alarm system engineering through the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies and is a nationally certified Electrical Construction Code Inspector. He is an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.
