(Albuquerque, N.M.) Mike Brazie, P.E., recently joined Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. He is a senior project manager in the Transportation Group based in the firm’s Albuquerque, N.M., office.
In his new role, Brazie oversees the technical direction, project management, and business development of transportation and infrastructure planning and design efforts. He also supports hydrology and hydraulics services for flood control and dams, geotechnical, land development, environmental, and hazardous material projects throughout New Mexico.
With more than 30 years of experience, Brazie’s primary area of expertise involves the preparation of transportation plans, construction documents, and permit applications. His wide variety of design experience includes roadways, drainage systems, dams, and waste disposal facilities, as well as civil works and military projects.
Brazie, who is a registered professional engineer in New Mexico, holds a bachelor of science and master of engineering in geological engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Society of American Military Engineers, and the American Institute of Professional Geologists.
