Barcia Joins Gannett Fleming

(Orlando, Fla.) Paul Barcia, Jr., P.E., recently joined Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. He serves as a senior transportation manager based in the firm’s Orlando, Fla., office.

In his new role, Barcia works closely with clients to manage transportation projects ranging from resurfacing roadways to reconfiguring entire interchanges. He oversees all aspects of roadway design, including signing and marking; roadway lighting; plans and budgeting; and quality control. 

Barcia brings more than 23 years of experience to Gannett Fleming. He began his career at the Florida Department of Transportation and worked in various districts throughout the state, in addition to managing design-build projects for the Florida Turnpike.

Buchheit, P.E., a vice president and regional office manager in the firm’s Orlando location. “His leadership and extensive experience in project management, roadway design, and design-build projects will enable us to better reach and serve our transportation clients in central Florida.”

A professional engineer in Florida, Barcia holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Florida International University.
