(Valley Forge, Pa.) Edward L. Woyden, Jr., P.E., has been named a vice president with Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Based in the firm’s Valley Forge, Pa., office, Woyden serves as the Water and Wastewater National Practice manager.
With more than 25 years of experience, Woyden oversees Gannett Fleming’s water and wastewater work for public, private, and industrial clients across the country. His duties include overseeing quality control programs, reviewing project execution plans, and supervising the technical work of more than 175 water and wastewater professionals from 20 regional offices. Woyden also focuses on generating new business opportunities.
Additionally, Woyden serves as the principal project manager for water and wastewater services provided to municipalities, authorities, and private clients. He is responsible for the treatment, conveyance, and collection designs for wastewater systems, as well as distribution and storage plans for water systems.
Woyden holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame and is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Eastern Pennsylvania Water Pollution Control Operators Association, the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association, the Water Environment Association of Pennsylvania, and the Water Environment Federation.
