Weber to Lead Gannett Fleming’s Growth in Ohio

Mitchell W. Weber, P.G.(Akron, Ohio) Mitchell W. Weber, P.G., will relocate to the Akron office of Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Previously based in Gannett Fleming’s Columbus, Ohio, office, Weber will lead the firm’s growth in northeast Ohio following his relocation on Aug. 1, 2006.

Weber is a vice president and deputy office manager with Gannett Fleming, responsible for project management, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and quality assurance.

He also serves as Gannett Fleming’s Geotechnical manager for Ohio. In this role, he oversees geotechnical and geological assignments performed for civil engineering projects. Weber brings more than 20 years of experience in mitigating landslide and mine subsidence hazards to the communities of northeast Ohio.

Weber holds a bachelor of science in geology from Mount Union College and a master of science in engineering geology from Kent State University. He is a registered professional geologist in Pennsylvania.
