Malloy Named Veteran Engineer of New Mexico

Michael W. Malloy, P.E.(Albuquerque, N.M.) Michael W. Malloy, P.E., was recently named Ingeniero Veterano de Nuevo Mejico by the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers (NMSPE). The highest honor bestowed by NMSPE, this prestigious title recognizes Malloy’s lifetime of achievement and service to the community and the engineering profession.

Malloy serves as president of Gannett Fleming West, Inc., a New Mexico-based engineering corporation specializing in planning, design, and construction management. Based in Albuquerque, N.M., he is responsible for the administration, planning, and design of civil, transportation, and environmental projects.

Malloy has more than 35 years of experience with Gannett Fleming and also serves as the regional director of the firm’s Western operations.

Malloy holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the Michigan Technological University and is a registered professional engineer in eight states. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Public Works Association, the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the New Mexico Consulting Engineers Council.
