 (Harrisburg, Pa.) Judy L. Hricak, CPSM, has been named to the Board of Directors for the Penn State Harrisburg Alumni Society. Based in Gannett Fleming’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., Hricak is a vice president and the national practice manager for the firm’s Marketing and Business Development Practice Leadership Team.
The mission of the Penn State Harrisburg Alumni Society is to promote the college in the community and foster alumni, student, and faculty participation, interest, and support in campus activities and events. A Penn State Harrisburg alumnae, Hricak also serves as chair of the Student Interaction Committee.
With more than 15 years of experience with the firm, Hricak is responsible for directing the firm’s marketing activities, with an emphasis on developing and maintaining a corporate marketing strategy. She coordinates the work of marketing and business development personnel from the firm’s 50 regional offices to consistently and effectively promote Gannett Fleming on a national basis.
Hricak holds a bachelor of humanities in communications and is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) through the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Active in professional associations, she is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania, where she serves as the statewide chair of the Public Relations Committee. Hricak is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Engineering Excellence Awards national committee.
Hricak was previously a president of the International Association of Business Communicators, Harrisburg Chapter. The recipient of numerous marketing awards, she was named one of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business in 2000.
