(Fairfax, Va.) Martin A. Kazmierczak, P.E., has joined Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm. Based in the firm’s Fairfax, Va., office, Kazmierczak serves as a senior project manager.
Kazmierczak brings more than 20 years of municipal and industrial planning, design, and construction expertise to Gannett Fleming. He is responsible for the management and technical direction of water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects.
With extensive experience throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, Kazmierczak was instrumental in the recent design and construction of a significant portion of the new water and sewer system infrastructure for the growing eastern panhandle of West Virginia.
Kazmierczak holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering and a master of science in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Tech. He is a registered professional engineer in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
A published author on odor control in sanitary systems, Kazmierczak is an active member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation.
