Hollopeter Achieves LEED® Accreditation

Mark D. Hollopeter, LEED® AP(Harrisburg, Pa.) Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, is pleased to announce that Mark D. Hollopeter, LEED® AP, has achieved the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) 2.1 accreditation. Based in the firm’s corporate headquarters in Harrisburg, Pa., Hollopeter serves as a senior facilities management consultant.

To become a LEED® Accredited Professional, Hollopeter successfully demonstrated an extensive knowledge of green building practices and principles, in addition to familiarity with the LEED 2.1 rating system, requirements, resources, and processes. His accreditation enables Gannett Fleming to continue to offer high-performance, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly facilities design and maintenance to its clients across the country. 

With more than 25 years of facility experience, Hollopeter is responsible for providing commissioning services for government, educational, healthcare, and transit facilities. He develops and oversees testing requirements for electrical power systems, mechanical heating ventilation and air-conditioning systems, building automation, and sustainable design practices. Hollopeter also helps clients implement maintenance and engineering standards for equipment assessment, evaluation, and documentation, and he assists in computerized maintenance management software integration. 

A member of the Building Commissioning Association, Hollopeter holds a bachelor of science in computer science from Muhlenberg College with an associate degree in electrical technology and heating, ventilation and air conditioning from Lehigh County Community College.
