  • Penn Forest Dam Replacement Project, Bethlehem, PA: 1999 National Rehabilitation Project of the Year Award. Presented by the Association of State Dam Safety Officials.

  • Ft. Point Channel Groundwater Control System, Boston, MA: National Honor Award in the 1999 Engineering Excellence Awards competition. Presented to Gannett Fleming as the client by the American Consulting Engineers Council.

  • Louisiana Boulevard Pedestrian Crossing, Albuquerque, NM: 1999 New Mexico National Quality Initiative (NQI) Highway Quality Award in the Local Government Category for outstanding achievements in highway construction in New Mexico. Presented by the NM NQI Steering Committee.

  • U.S. Route 219, The Meyersdale Bypass, Somerset County, PA: National Quality Initiative (NQI) Achievement Award, Gold Level, for outstanding quality highway design and construction through partnership efforts. Presented by the NQI Steering Committee.

  • U.S. Route 219, The Meyersdale Bypass, Somerset County, PA: 1999 American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) Award, National Runner-Up, for the Divided Highways (Rural) Category, designed to honor quality concrete pavements constructed each year nationwide. Presented by the American Concrete Pavement Association.

  • "The Pride of the Fox," Main Street (IL 64) over the Fox River, the City of St. Charles, IL: Honor Award of Engineering Excellence presented by the Consulting Engineers Council of Illinois.

  • Pennsylvania Air National Guard Communications Complex, State College, PA: 1999 Excellence in Masonry Design Award presented by the Masonry Contractors Association of Central Pennsylvania and the International Masonry Institute.
  • U.S. Route 219, The Meyersdale Bypass, Somerset County, PA: Three Pennsylvania Quality Initiative (PQI) awards presented by The PQI Task Force:

    • Project Recognition Award for the outstanding construction project exhibiting the highest quality standards for 1999
    • Value Engineering/Cost Savings Award for innovative and substantial cost saving techniques
    • Concrete Pavement Award for the highest rated concrete project.
